CHALLENGE
The client had recently undertaken a take-private transaction that materially altered the company’s exposure. Moreover, it paid commission to two brokers for the placement of one line of coverage (D&O) at an uncompetitive price.
SOLUTION
ER leveraged its relationships to drive the introduction of new, competitively-priced insurers into the coverage structure whilst maintaining broad terms. ER also supported the client in renegotiating the broker remuneration structure so that it appropriately reflected the work being undertaken.
RESULT
ER achieved a $6M limit increase, more competitive premium and 9% reduction in broker commissions for the client, driving a like for like cost reduction of $875K.
