Mark Vorbach is the Founder, Managing Partner and CEO of Eldin Risk Partners. Previously he was a Senior Managing Director at Macquarie where he built, from scratch, one of the largest insurance buying programmes in the world. This business managed over US$1.1bn of annual premium spend and worked with 850+ clients, two thirds of which were owned by 45 third party private equity and infrastructure funds. It delivered over US$265m of premium savings to its clients, representing nearly US$3bn of value creation for the LPs/investors. Mark was directly responsible for all aspects of the business - he hired the team, established operations in the UK, Europe, North America and AsiaPac, acquired a US broker and formed a reinsurance captive in Bermuda.
Prior to Macquarie, Mark held senior management positions at several other investment banks, including WestLB, ING Barings, JP Morgan and SG Warburg. He qualified as a chartered accountant with Coopers and Lybrand and has a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Adelaide.

Emily Jenner has over 14 years’ experience in insurance and risk. Having held various roles in banking and finance, including Global Head of Insurance, Managing Director Risk Appetite & Portfolio Risk, and as a Chief Risk Officer, she has deep expertise in managing global insurance programmes across all classes of insurance. As the previous deputy chairman of AIRMIC (Association of Insurance and Risk Managers in Commerce), she is passionate about championing the strategic value of insurance risk management in a changing world.

James Nelson has provided insurance services to the private equity market for over a decade and his past roles include due diligence project manager within Marsh’s Private Equity and M&A (PEMA) group, internal risk manager for Cerberus Capital, and insurance consultant at Alvarez and Marsal. He has extensive experience actively managing and advising on all facets of property and casualty insurance, including transactional risk, portfolio company oversite, and portfolio-wide strategy and implementation. He received a BSc in economics from Trinity College, obtained a Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU) designation, and is a licensed property and casualty insurance broker.

Kane Delaney has 9 years’ experience spanning the insurance, financial technology, and investment banking industries. Most recently he was a senior placement specialist focused on management liability and cyber liability within Willis Towers Watson’s M&A Group. Based out of New York, Kane provided due diligence, broking, and advisory solutions to WTW’s private equity, asset management, and corporate client base. Prior to joining WTW, he was an Account Executive at AlphaSense, partnering with private equity, private credit, and investment banking clients to implement an AI-augmented fundamental research platform. Kane began his career in Boston as an analyst with AGC Partners, a boutique technology-focused investment bank, where he oversaw the firm’s business development efforts while managing its relationships with the private equity, venture capital, and strategic buyer communities.
He graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Tufts University where he co-captained the Men’s Lacrosse team while also earning All-America and Scholar All-America honors.

Ralph Oakes is ACII qualified and has 8 years’ of experience in insurance broking and risk management. He’s held roles in business development and account management at Ardonagh Group and Sutton Winson, respectively. Most recently at WTW, Ralph was advising organisations across key sectors and lines of business, both domestically in the UK and internationally on how to approach insurance purchasing through a strategic lens, to reduce their total cost of risk. He has a keen interest in the use of data analytics, to optimise programme structures and benchmark limits and market rates.

Sarah Jenkins has over 15 years of commercial and financial experience, including business strategy implementation and administrative and human capital management at two major investment banks. Past roles have included the EMEA COO M&A role at Merrill Lynch (now Bank of America) and Operations Officer at Morgan Stanley Services. She also launched and successfully built a teenage skincare brand that was stocked globally in leading retailers, including SpaceNK and Urban Outfitters.

Shyam has over 15 years' experience within the insurance and regulatory environment. Shyam previously held the role of Chief Compliance Officer, Executive Director within the insurance services division at Davies Group, where he was responsible for Risk and Compliance across the UK, Europe, North America, Bermuda & the Middle East. He has supported the launch and growth of 70+ legal entities from start-ups to large corporate firms, including newly created MGAs and Brokers. Shyam has also held senior roles at various UK regulators and has a comprehensive understanding of insurance markets covering Insurers, MGAs, Brokers and Captive Insurers.

Catherine works as a data analyst. Catherine is responsible for managing the in-house business development and revenue systems as well as overseeing PowerBI developed custom visuals and analytic protocols for client data. In addition, she has helped develop the departmental operating instructions (DOI) for Eldin’s proprietary database (EDGE) and ongoing data management. Previously, she has worked in Business Development, Accounts and Market Research for LectEarn, a fintech start-up focusing on financial products serving the education sector. She is a keen rugby player. Catherine received a Bachelor of Arts in Classics from Durham University.
